Cisco acquiring Starent Networks for USD 2.9 billion
Cisco is on an acquisition spree! They are now acquiring Starent Networks for around USD 2.9 billion.
Starent Networks specializes in developing products that enable mobile companies to delivery large amount of data to mobile devices.
Cisco representative Ned Hooper spoke about this deal: “We have had a huge explosion in data traffic. We expect the market for mobile data to double every year through 2013.”
