Maruti Suzuki Alto, Wagon R to get new K-Series engines
If you are planning to buy one of these cars, you might want to wait for a couple of months.
Maruti Suzuki is working on updating these two models with their new K-Series engines.
The aim is to meet the April 2010 deadline when the new emission norms would be launched in some parts of the country.
Maruti Suzuki has not given out definitive details but it is pretty well known that they would have to update the engines on these cars to ensure their sales in the metro cities.
Around 11 cities in India would get these new standards next year.
