Tata Nano could be assembled by other companies under their own brands

Tata Motors has said that they are considering plans that would allow other companies to assemble their Nano car and sell them under their own brand names.

The company launched Nano in the Indian market earlier this year and have delivered more than 7000 units till now.

They already have confirmed orders for more than 1 lakh units.

A company representative said: “We call it Nano, they don’t have to.”

This could revolutionize the sales of cars in the Indian market as it would expand the manufacturing capacity and availability of affordable cars in the Indian market.
