Toyota India has sold 4 lakh cars in India

Toyota India has announced that they have now sold more than 4 lakh cars in the Indian market.

The company has been in India for around 11 years now and they are all set to expand their product portfolio.

Toyota has yet not entered the compact car market where the numbers are.

They are expected to enter the small car market in the coming years which should boost sales.

The company said: “This is a big step towards establishing Toyota as one of the major players in the Indian automobile market. This, in fact, could not have come at a better time for us, with the launch of the compact car in the Indian market next year.”
