Maruti Suzuki Swift gets K-series engine
Maruti Suzuki India has announced new updated editions of their Swift and Swift Dzire models.
Both of these models now get the company’s K-Series petrol engines which provide improved fuel efficiency.
With these upgrades, these two models are now Bharat Stage IV compliant.
India is set to implement Bharat Stage IV emission norms in the metro cities later this year.
Maruti said that the new engine delivers 84bhp of max power and 113Nm of max torque.
The same engine is already powering company’s other models including Zen Estilo, SX4, A-star and Ritz.
