Tata Motors overtake Hyundai in India
Hyundai has become the victim of Tata Nano’s success in the Indian market.
Tata Motors has now become the second largest automaker in the market overtaking them.
Maruti Suzuki India continues to dominate at the top spot.
Tata Motors sold 31,081 units in January. In comparison, Hyundai sold 29,601 units in the same month.
Maruti on the other hand is at a totally different level with sales of 81,087 units.
Hyundai continues to rely heavily on export market for their sales. Tata on the other hand would continue to gain as Nano would become widely available in the coming months.
