Adobe joins LiMo group
LiMo is one of the many Linux based mobile platforms available in the market today.
LiMo has announced that Adobe has joined their group.
LiMo is a Linux based mobile platform. Incidentally, Google Android and Maemo are also based on the open source Linux platform.
Morgan Gillis, head of LiMo spoke about the new developments: “There has been a step change for Linux in mobile. No other operating system now matches the vendor coverage of Linux — it is being commercially deployed by virtually all leading mobile device vendors from the largest downwards.”
Adobe has been very active in the mobile market hoping to generate a demand for their Flash technology. Apple has pretty much refused to support Adobe Flash platform on their iPhone. Google Android is set to get support for Flash in the near future.
