Mahindra Renault sold just 4,981 Logans in this fiscal year!
Industry sources state that Mahindra Renault managed to sell just around 4,981 units of their Logan sedan in the Indian market this fiscal year.
These numbers are for the period between April 2009-February 2010. They are down 60% compared to the same period in the previous year.
The two companies have simply struggled to compete against the growing competition.
Tata Indigo, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and other models have dominated this segment of the market leaving very little space for Logan to grow.
Mahindra Renault dealers are said to be offering major discounts on almost all the variants of Logan to generate some sales before the end of the financial year.
