Apple iPhone dominate Japanese Smartphone market!
Japan might be way ahead of United States when it comes to mobile services and devices Apple still managed to dominate in the smartphone market.
Apple iPhone has been reported to have taken the lead in the Japanese smartphone segment.
Tokyo-based MM Research Institute has stated in a report that the iPhone currently has a 72 percent market share in Japan.
Apple launched the iPhone in Japan in July 2008.
Market analysts however believe that the US based company is likely to face more competition this year.
Rival companies like HTC and Toshiba are launching new devices which should provide more competition to the Apple iPhone in Japan.
Apple however is expected to launch their next generation iPhone in June-July period which should further boost its popularity.
