Maruti Suzuki Swift has seen sales of 4.5 lakh units
Maruti Suzuki Swift has been one of the most successful models for the Indian automaker.
This model was launched back in 2005. And since then, the company has sold more than 4.5 lakh units.
The company said: “The Swift was launched in India on May 25, 2005. Nearly 16,000 customers had placed advance orders for the Swift even before it was unveiled and its price made public. In these five years, more than 4.5 lakh Swift cars have been sold in India.”

The diesel version has been such a major hit that it still has a waiting period.
Maruti has been working hard on ensuring regular supplies to meet the demand in the market.
The petrol version is currently powered with a 1.2 liter K-Series engine. The diesel model is powered with a 1.3 liter DDiS engine.
