Gap might sell co-branded and designer cloths in their stores
Clothing retailer Gap Inc. has said that they are considering selling designer and co-branded apparel at its stores.
This would a big change for the company as they have till now sold their own Gap-labeled merchandise from these stores.
Gap Brand President Cynthia Harriss said in a statement: “Our job is to bring the best assortment to our customers. We’d be open to it.”
The company is facing massive slumps in sales from their stores, and this might be a good way to increase revenues.
They are also planning to offer Converse shoes at its stores and are collaborating with Project Red to sell African-made, vintage-style T-shirts.
