Hyundai India to make more cars for the local market
Hyundai has been one of the few companies that have been using their Indian venture for their international market extensively.
The company is one of the largest exporters of cars from India. Though they believe this could soon change.
The increasing demand from the domestic market means that the company would have to shift their focus.
Hyundai has hinted that they are expected to manufacture more cars than usual for local sales compared to exports.
The company said: “We will increase our production capacity by 0.7 lakh units at our factories to meet the rising demand.”
