Analog Devices to acquire Integrant Technologies
Analog and digital chipmaker Analog Devices Inc. has said in a statement that they are planning to acquire privately held Integrant Technologies Inc.
Integrant Technologies Inc. is essentially a supplier of low-power radio tuners and the deal would be worth around $127 million.
The deal would be conducted in an all cash transaction. It is expected to be completed within the next two months.
Analog would be paying around $33 million more if Integrant can manage to reach some pre-decided milestones in the future.
Integrant Technologies is based in South Korea and makes radio tuners which are used in computers and consumer devices to receive digital television and digital radio broadcasts.
