Maruti to help Suzuki in their two-wheeler venture in India

India’s largest carmaker Maruti Udyog is helping the parent company’s two-wheeler venture in the Indian market.

Maruti would be helping Suzuki in producing two-wheelers in India. The Bellsonica Corporation is forming a joint venture with Maruti Udyog and they would be manufacturing sheet metal, chassis and other critical components for Suzuki motorcycles and cars in India.

Maruti would hold a 30% stake in this joint venture and they would become a core supplier to Suzuki’s automobile ventures in India. This venture would also benefit Maruti Suzuki itself as well.

Bellsonica has aims to expand their base in India, which is increasingly becoming a big hub for automotive giants around the world. The venture with Maruti would be established with an initial paid-up capital of Rs 12 crore.
