CA acquires MDY Group International
Computer Associates International has confirmed in a statement that they are acquiring MDY Group International.
MDY Group International is essentially a provider of enterprise records management software and services. The deal would help CA expand its information management capabilities.
This deal comes after CA acquired iLumin Software Services late last year. Bob Davis, general manager of CA’s storage business management unit spoke about their latest acquisition: “CA has embarked on a strategy for information management that started with the acquisition of iLumin.”
He added: “It gives us touch points beyond. And as we talked to our customers’ IT and legal people about compliance, we found that records management is important to them.”
