Xerox to acquire Amici LLC

Xerox Corp. has confirmed that they are planning to acquire Amici LLC. Amici LLC helps their customers manage and search through legal and other documents.

The deal is worth around $174 million and it would be conducted through a cash only transaction.

Amici is based in Albany, New York and has around 125 workers associated with the company. They also provide consulting and professional services to attorneys with legal document searching capabilities.

Xerox said in a statement on this new development: “Considering that this is a small company and a modest-sized acquisition, it is not material to our revenue or earnings expectations.” They expect this deal to close within the next month and have plans to acquire more similar sized companies to expand their service offerings.
