DuPont expecting huge growth in China
DuPont has said that they are expecting the growth in China to accelerate as they are working on expanding their workforce in this region by as much as 9 percent annually.
The company entered this market pretty early in the 1980s and has invested as much as $600 million in the country. DuPont intends to add as many as 400 to 500 employees per year to their existing workforce every year.
However, the revenues from this market are not as high but they are working on improving upon this aspect. Thomas Powell, a company vice president and head of DuPont’s China operations said: “We have seen healthy double-digit growth in sales and in fact that could accelerate”.
