Air Deccan collaborates with State Bank of India
Budget airline company Air Deccan has said that they are collaborating with State Bank of India to launch an on-line ticket booking facility.
This facility would be available to all the registered users of SBI and as many as a million customers will benefit from the joint initiative.
SBI is the largest commercial bank in the Indian market with as many as 3500 internet banking branches across the country. This gives Air Deccan huge scope to market their services around the nation.
The agreement was signed on by SBI Acting Chairman and Managing Director T S Bhattacharya and Managing Director of Air Deccan G R Gopinath.
Bhattacharya spoke on this initiative: “Being the largest commercial bank in the country, our Endeavour is to bring all value-added services to our customers’ doorstep. After the huge success in the Indian Railway e-ticketing facility, this service is now being extended to air travelers.”
