Best Buy starts selling Apple Mac computers

Best Buy Co. is the largest consumer electronics retailer in the US and they are now testing the possibility of selling Apple Mac computers.

Until now, Best Buy was only selling Apple’s iPod range of digital music and video players. The latest initiative would see them offer the entire range of Apple Mac computers in their stores.

The retailing giants have added Apple products at seven of their stores around the nation and are considering the possibility of selling them on more of their stores.

Best Buy Senior Vice President for Merchandising David Morrish confirmed that the tests began around a month ago.

Apple computers were a regular feature at Best Buy stores till 1998. However, due to lack of sales… Best Buy decided to stop selling Apple computers. That resulted in Apple starting their own chain of stores around the country. With Macs becoming a hot property in the US market again, the deal seems to be on again.
