Disney collaboration with YouTube for online video series
Disney and Google have announced a small collaboration which would see Disney create original video content that would be broadcast online through YouTube and their own website.
Disney wants to gain from the popularity of YouTube amongst the younger generation today to get them to watch their content on the web.
A company representative said: “It’s imperative to go where our audience is.”
Disney might be a very popular brand even today but they are not doing well in terms of online audience to their offerings.
YouTube spoke about this partnership: “It’s an acknowledgment that we want to work with the best brands and, yes, we expect this partnership to attract new advertisers.”
