Hero Honda launches Glamour FI 125-cc Honda PMG-FI

Hero Honda is the world’s largest seller of two wheelers and they are bringing some real new technological advancement to the Indian market. The company has just launched the Glamour FI 125-cc Honda PMG-FI motorcycle.

This is the first motorcycle in the Indian market to feature the fuel injection technology. This technology makes the engine fuel-efficient and the product meets the stricter emission norms that can be laid down by 2010.

The entry-level version of this bike is priced at Rs. 49,990 while the fully loaded version with disc brake and self-start would sell for Rs. 53,990. Hero Honda Chairman Brijmohan Lall spoke on this launch: “This is the first time that Honda has provided this technology outside Japan and that too on a small capacity engine.”

Interestingly, Bajaj Auto is also due to launch a version of their Pulsar bike with the fuel injection technology powered engine sometime soon.
