After General Motors, Ford rules out bankruptcy filing

World’s largest automaker General Motors has already denied that they are thinking about filing for bankruptcy. Now, Ford Motors has said it too.

Ford is undergoing a massive restructuring plan to turn around their business operations in the US market to cut costs and attain back profitability.

Company’s chief executive Bill Ford has now said in a statement that filing for bankruptcy is not even an option they are considering.

He added about their restructuring efforts: “I think we had some fairly conservative assumptions in the Way Forward plan, just because the world never develops like you think it is going to, and the world has gotten tougher.”

The company is now working hard by bringing cheaper and efficient cars to lure more customers.
