Google collaborates with BearingPoint Inc.

Search engine giants Google have announced a new deal with a business-consulting firm BearingPoint Inc. The deal would see Google implementing simple keyword search to companies trying to manage their own information.

The corporate search market is growing fast as companies are struggling to manage their internal networks for managing information and making them accessible to their workers and companies like Google comes handy with their excellent search engine technologies.

BearingPoint Chief Executive Harry You said in a statement on this collaboration: “We know how the file cabinets are structured in different industries. Each file cabinet has a different set of keys for SAP or Oracle or EMC/Documentum.”

The company enters the market with dominating players like Fast Search and Transfer of Norway. BearingPoint would now extend Google’s search capabilities by offering companies customized search technology tailored for specific business settings. A win win situation for all the involved parties and their prospective customers.
