Networking industry giants Cisco Systems has said that they are going ahead with their plans to acquire privately held security software company Meetinghouse Data Communications Inc.
The deal is worth around $43.7 million. Cisco said that their latest acquisition specializes in developing products to restrict network access only to authorized users.
Cisco added that they expect to complete this deal by the first quarter of their fiscal year.
And when the deal is completed, Meetinghouse’s products and 77 employees will be integrated into Cisco’s wireless networking business unit.
