Research In Motion launches Hosted Blackberry Enterprise Server
The makers of popular Blackberry devices, Research in Motion has announced the availability of a new service product named Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The company aims to further grow their business in the corporate market with this launch. This product would enable service providers handle all of the work to roll out and maintain a communications system for portable computing devices including the Blackberry.
The application has been designed to deliver enterprise-grade mobile applications for small- and medium-size businesses. David Heit, senior product manager at RIM spoke about this launch: “Customers don’t have buy, install, or manage server software. A business can go wireless with no up-front costs or ongoing I.T. support costs, so that they can concentrate on their primary business tasks.”
Market analysts believe that this is a great step from the company, as it would help the corporate bodies save both money and resources.
