Haryana government wants to develop Ambala on the lines of Gurgaon
TechWhack is based in Gurgaon. And we know the kind of power problems we face and the kind of roads most of the city has. Things are improving but we still see a lot of problems that can become a nightmare for the people living here in the coming years.
Thus, it makes me wonder when I read this story on how the Haryana government plans to develop the Ambala city on the lines of Gurgaon!
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said in a statement that the city of Ambala had been neglected due to political apathy since Independence and they would now work to develop it into a model city.
He added that Ambala would now be developed at par with Gurgaon and a Special Economic Zone would be developed here. Hooda further said that business parties interested in establishing their setups here would be invited and provided land at 50 per cent concession.
The government is hoping that about five lakh people from the area would get employment under the SEZ project.
