Amazon and Target extends their collaboration
Target Corp. and Amazon Enterprise Solutions have announced that they are extending their collaboration by around 2 years. Their partnership will now last until 2010.
The two companies however declined to reveal the financial details of this extended agreement. Amazon Enterprise Solutions is a unit of the online retailing giant Amazon.com.
Amazon initially tied up with Target around six years back. Since then they have been providing the company e-commerce technology, order fulfillment and guest services operations.
Dale Nitschke, president of Target.com said in a statement on their partnership with Amazon: “We are pleased that Target will be able to remain focused on our core strengths of merchandising and design, while continuing to benefit from Amazon’s innovation and expertise.”
