Nissan, NEC collaborating to manufacture lithium-ion batteries
Nissan Motor has announced that they are now collaborating with NEC Tokin on a new plant that would manufacture lithium-ion batteries.
These batteries would power their next generation automobiles and the production would begin sometime next year.

IBM and Toshiba to work on next generation chip technology
Toshiba has announced that they are now joining a group headed by IBM to develop system chips using 32-nanometre circuitry.
The group includes other big names including Advanced Micro Devices, Samsung Electronics, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, Infineon Technologies and Freescale Semiconductor.
